- Its truly and honor to write a review for this awesome, wonderful, awe inspiring woman of God. I have only read a few chapters but what I read is dynamite. I want to take this time to tell God thank you for this wonderful woman who daily pours into people via social media and now again pouring into us the people with this awesome read. - Ok, so if you didn't get her first release, which is completely SOLD OUT & has made its way onto every continent...what were you thinking?! Don't feel bad, Markita had you in mind so your second chance is here! I'm Still Old Fashioned is a well-written page-turner. Go grab your favorite goodies and cozy up with a book that will stir up quite a few emotions. Some of the words kut, but there is no malice in them. The book confronts with love in a way that only makes the reader want to be better.
The Box is my absolute favorite chapter. If you aren't sure where to begin, start there because it will reel you right in! Buy a copy & share with a friend or two or 10! - I read her first book,but this one she went more raw and transparent than ever before! The sacrifices,the let downs,the blessings, the truth about Markita D Collins and her journey to get back her life! Even though she went thru so much,SHE NEVER GAVE UP ON GOD,HER DREAMS,AND GOALS! She fought through the hurt,disappointments, the doubts, and etc. She is such an amazing woman! - It is not everyday that GOD says to you, I see you and I know you and I am going to connect you to people that love ME first and have enough room to love you through this tough season in your life. God gave me Markita D. Collins and she is a TRUE woman of God and although I am very much her senior and a proud grandma, this woman was divinely placed in my life and this book is just a testament on how God can use those who will have faith and trust in HIM in the good times and in the times of great struggle. This is a book that every bible believing Christian should have in their library. There is something about truth that you can't run away from. It cuts through the weeds to make room for beautiful blossoms to grow. Thank you Markita D. Collins for your non-compromising truth and for allowing God to use you to set the captives free.
